Our nib cleaning solution is perfect for removing dried-on ink from calligraphy pen nibs, fountain pen nibs and feeds and brushes. It can also be used to rinse calligraphy pen nibs instead of water during a writing session.

Can be used to flush pens through, or to soak nibs and feeds.

 

Supplied in a 30ml glass bottle with dropper.

Decant a small amount of the solution into a small jar or receptacle. Rinse nib briefly and dry thoroughly. For dried-on ink, leave your nib to soak in the solution, the rinse and dry as usual.

Really good

Honestly so useful I’ve used it a fair bit and it already removes all the ink that went where it wasn’t meant to grate for cleaning pens and other surfaces

Nib cleaning

tried to clean my nibs with water and soapy water but still left ink in situ. Ordered this solution, decanted a little into a smaller pot and left the nibs to soak and they are now completely free of ink. Thank you Tom, great product

Coped well with removing gold ink from one dip wonder nib where the gold became stuck in the crack of the nib making it difficult to use. Needed a bit of extra attention with a bit of fine sandpaper as well though.
