These smooth writing tips are perfect for everyday use. Crafted in Japan with exceptional quality, they produce a line width of around 0.3–0.5 and are designed to deliver consistent performance and durability.

Pair with our Reservoir & Tip Containers to use different colours again and again.

These tips work with almost all fountain pen inks – the only exceptions are the more experimental ones, like shimmer or iridescent varieties. If you’re after a waterproof, archival option, I recommend Sailor Kiwa-guro; a 50ml bottle will keep you going for years. When in doubt, stick to inks made specifically for fountain pens, or choose a dye-based formula.

the cutest little pen!! writes like a dream and is great to toss in a bag and take on adventures. i find it a teeny bit difficult to use sometimes based on the way i hold my pens, but this is just because it's hard for me to push the reservoir half into the plastic half the whole way for a snug fit. definitely not a pen problem though! more a "disability causing me niche issues" problem! :) i wish i could buy a million more of these and give them to everyone because they're just so cute and convenient. reclaiming and reusing materials is one of my favorite pillars of sustainability, so that's the cherry on top of all the reasons i love this little cutie :))

This pen is beautiful. I’m pretty much becoming obsessed with Tom’s Studio offerings. I now have 2 Wrens.
I have slight issues with the extra weight of this brass beauty as I’m used to my original Wren and find it slightly harder work with, along with the fact the barrel is smooth and does not have a matte finish makes my grip not so secure. I still love the pen though. I expect I just need to practice more to get used to this brass Wrens unique personality.
