A little Ninja of a calligraphy tool... So many pens are made from cheap materials that look good but don't stand the test of time. I wanted to make a pen that did both. The Original Flourish straight pen is machined from Solid Aluminium using lathes conventionally used to make watch parts (the long-lasting bit, no plastic here). They have a silky matte black finish which sings quality and craft – it not only looks beautiful but is designed to be the best tool for the job. Each pen is also fitted with a stainless steel ferrule (not a speck of rust in sight!).

It's my hope that you'll be passing your pen down the generations, and that your grandchildren will get the same pleasure from using their Tom's Studio pen as you do.

Specifications:

  • Length – 145mm
  • Weight – 15g
  • Made from Anodised Aluminium (with stainless steel ferrule)

Nibs are sold separately and you can find them here.

We aim to process your order within 1-3 working days. Please note that this increases to 1-4 working days for orders that include any personalisation, such as engraving.

Grip and feel are perfect

Lies in your hand like fine silk. It is perfectly balanced and so smooth, whilst retaining a perfect grip. I love using this pen.

Lovely all-purpose nib holder - engravable

This is a lovely, nicely weighted pen, which I bought for my daughter to draw with, as a graduation present. I got it engraved, and that came out beautifully, and I gave it to her together with some nibs and an antique cut-glass inkwell. She was delighted!
