Named for Iris, Greek Goddess of rainbows, this little bottle of goodness contains one of the rainbow’s most beautiful shades – a wonderfully rich purple.

Transform the way you create with an ink colour that sets you apart!

Most pens offer ink cartridges in a limited selection of colours. I want to change that by bringing you this range of beautifully rich and distinctive inks – with no need to dispose of or replace an empty cartridge.

  • Each bottle holds 5 ml of this lovely ink.
  • All our inks are water-based, acid-free, non-toxic, and vegan-friendly.
  • Each ink comes beautifully presented in a dinky glass bottle with a handy pipette for easy application.
  • Every mini ink is bottled by hand by the Tom's Studio team and packaged in a hand-painted cardboard sleeve.

Our fountain pen ink is compatible with all Tom’s Studio Pens, including calligraphy (The Flourish, Carrot, and Bloom), fountain (The Studio and Studio Pocket), fineliner (The Lumos and Lumos Mini) and the Wren.

Fountain pen inks are highly 'layerable', allowing you to build different intensities or colours by applying more or less ink on the paper. Please note that the colour on the label may not perfectly represent the colour achieved when using different pens or techniques.


Because the ink has such a concentrated colour, you can dilute it with a smidge of water (ideally distilled) to create watercolour-like washes and depth of colour.

We aim to process your order within 1-3 working days. Please note that this increases to 1-4 working days for orders that include any personalisation, such as engraving.

i love it

i love the inks on Tom's website. I ordered 10 mini inks and I have some of his if my own so i have about 15 ish in total and i love every one if them. The colours are beautiful and the quality and the fluidity is perfect for my Fountain pen and my Lumos pen which i adore. i have just received the Stainless Steel one and can't wait to load it up with the grey ink which is stunning. i could not fault it.

I bought the mini version to try. Love the colour, it’s so beautiful! A glorious change from black and blue. I will be purchasing a full size one, once this has run out. I will use the mini bottle as a travel refill too!

Ink 11 - Iris

Really love the way the pen glides on the paper and the ink is really gorgeous, I was just expecting it to be a little bit more vibrant. But the same happened with Mariana, so it's probably a little bit brighter on the packaging than in reality. ^^
