Most pens offer ink cartridges in a limited selection of colours. I want to change that by bringing you this range of beautifully rich and distinctive inks – with no need to dispose of or replace an empty cartridge.

These wonderfully free-flowing inks come in a number of beautiful and nuanced shades. They truly are a joy to write or create with!

  • Each bottle holds 50ml of ink, enough to keep you going for reams of writing, drawing, or doodling.
  • All of our fountain pen inks are water-based, acid-free, non-toxic and vegan.

Our fountain pen ink is compatible with all Tom’s Studio Pens, including calligraphy (The Flourish, Carrot, and Bloom), fountain (The Studio and Studio Pocket), and fineliner (The Lumos and Lumos Mini).


Fountain pen inks are highly 'layerable', allowing you to build different intensities or colours by applying more or less ink on the paper. Please note that the colour on the label may not perfectly represent the colour achieved when using different pens or techniques.


Because the ink has such a concentrated colour, you can dilute it with a smidge of water (ideally distilled) to create watercolour-like washes and depth of colour.

How I love what you do!

How can you make the most common and functional thing stand out. As a product, the overall experience that you have curated is so beautiful.
From the way the Ads are pitched, the user experience on the website, I am tempted to consider all options, the journey of choosing and ordering, personalisation being such a brilliant touch along the way, the packaging and the unboxing. This alone deserves a huge applause, for your creative and thoughtful design and execution.

And then you overdeliver with the goodies and presentation. By the time I hold the pen, fill the ink and get down to writing, I have built a conscious connection. And this is rare with someting as banal as a pen. And the pen, Wren in my case is a joy. I have been using it every day since. It gets all the attention. I pick it up and scribble a lot more, just because I now enjoy that tactile experience, due to an almost intuitively perfect fit and beautiful to look finish. I wish it did not roll as much though.

You have created a great product and business. I wish you more success.
I don't really need another pen, but that has not stopped me from dreaming about the Lumos now :).

Excellent Ink

Very deep blue, pleasing to the eye when writing . The ink is premium quality, I’m using it with one of Tom’s Studio fountain pens and a fine Tom’s Studio titanium nib. It is a great privilege and pleasure owning such crafted products.
