Since it arrived, the Wren has reinvigorated by desire to write. From the outset, I loved the ability to mix and match colours. The pen not only looks beautiful but feels lovely in the hand- a nice weight to feel substantial but not too heavy. The barrel is on the thicker side but still feels comfortable in the hand. I was worried that it might be too short to hold, but when capped it is a decent and comfortable length.
I loved watching the cartridge suck up the ink- very pleasing indeed!
And now for the writing- it writes so beautifully. Super smooth, non scratchy and a nice ink density which has maintained itself for a good week or so now of daily writing. The thickness is perfect- similar to that of a fountain pen and makes my writing look really nice and neat. If you had very small handwriting then it may be a smidge too thick, but for my small/medium writing it's perfect.
Can't recommend this pen enough- I can't wait to write with it every day!
