Elegant line variations with a double broad tip. Looking to add flair to your handwriting? The Cursive Italic nib is specially designed to create stunning line variations, making every stroke unique. This italic nib features a smooth, rounded tip with slightly flattened sides, offering two distinct writing surfaces: a broader downstroke (approx. 1mm ± 0.1) and a fine horizontal stroke (as thin as 0.2mm).

The "cursive" in its name reflects the flowing, elegant script it produces, while the "BB" designation stands for "double broad," meaning the nib creates lines twice as wide as a standard broad nib.

Made exclusively for our fountain pens, all nibs are tipped with hard-wearing iridium for effortlessly smooth writing and are plated in 14k gold for a classic, elegant finish. Plus, every nib is interchangeable, allowing you to effortlessly switch styles whenever inspiration strikes.

A new experience for me

I haven’t used the nib much yet, but so far I`m liking it. I love the flexibility which is great for drawing, it`s now becoming my favourite pen, I can highly recommend this nib.

Fabulous nib

I’m a bit of a newbie when it comes to fountain pens and ink but I really enjoyed writing with this - it’s very smooth and the ink just flows in lovely rich lines. I wasn’t prepared for how often I would have to refill it but I suppose you can’t expect to have a lucious stream of ink without topping it up! Anyway I love, love LOVE it! Second times the charm

I got the titanium Flex nib to replace my previous nib that got crushed when my pen rolled off of my desk. The first replacement I got was defective and I had a lot of trouble with it but Tom Studios excellent customer service reached out to me and sent a replacement right away. The replacement nib writes extremely well, has a moderately wet line and enjoyable variability to the strokes.
