Taking my knowledge from making calligraphy pens for some of the world's leading calligraphers, I wanted to make a pen that took all the best elements of a calligraphy pen and apply it to a fountain pen so you can be creative anywhere, anytime.

    Each nib has unique characteristics so please do read up on each to help you make the best choice.

    *The Pro-Flex is a fountain pen nib that mimics the line variation and stroke of a calligraphy nib. It requires a practiced hand to achieve smooth, elegant penmanship – for this reason, we recommend it for experienced calligraphers only. Additionally, this nib must be cleaned after each use and should not be left in the pen.

    Please note: We recommend you flush your fountain pen thoroughly before use. This will remove any oils from the nib which are present during manufacture, and will impede ink flow. 

    What ink can I use?
    The Studio Fountain Pen works beautifully with all fountain pen inks. Be sure not to use calligraphy specific ink as this can clog the pen.

    How do I change the nib?
    The nib units all unscrew from the pen. With the nib pointing towards you, remove the ink converter then simply pinch the nib and the feed (the black part under the nib) and twist anti-(counter) clockwise.

    Fountain pen

    Brought the studio fountain pen with a fude nib and cursive nib to use within my drawing sketchbook to add notes or to use to draw using the fude nib. The pen is a lovely weight to hold and ink flows smoothly. Has become part of my drawing pens alongside the wren and lumos duo pens also from Toms studio. Three pens that can do much and set aside the use of plastic one use pens.
