Finally, a fountain pen that’s as interesting as you are.

Gone are the days of fountain pens that feel like they’ve been mass produced in some Dickensian, utilitarian workshop. The Studio Pocket Fountain Pen 2.0 is hand-assembled right here in our studio, with 36 possible colour combinations – plus the option to laser engrave it, making it feel as unique to you as your handwriting.

Despite its diminutive 90mm size when capped, it extends to a comfortable 130mm when posted – making it (dare we say it?) the most portable and comfortable fountain pen in the world. We might be blowing our own trumpet here, but we’ll let you be the judge.

And nibs – oh, wonderful nibs. Often under appreciated, but never overlooked by us. The Studio Pocket Pen is a bit like the Go-Go Gadget of the fountain pen world: with three interchangeable nibs to choose from and six more creative nibs you can add, you can switch things up depending on your mood, your writing style, or your next creative adventure.

This refresh is all about making the fountain pen experience feel more personal, more joyful, and a whole lot more fun. Because when your tools reflect who you are, creativity flows that little bit more freely.

Choose one of the following nibs:

Each nib has unique characteristics so please do read up on each to help you make the best choice.

Specifications:

  • Length capped – 90mm
  • Length posted – 130mm
  • Pen barrel diameter – 10mm
  • Weight – 25g
  • Made from Anodised Aluminium

Full FAQs and a video guide to getting started with your Pocket Fountain Pen can be found here.

Please note: We recommend you flush your fountain pen thoroughly before use. This will remove any oils from the nib which are present during manufacture, and will impede ink flow.

What ink can I use?
The Pocket Fountain Pen works beautifully with all fountain pen inks. Be sure not to use calligraphy specific ink as this can clog the pen.

How do I change the nib?
The nib units all unscrew from the pen. With the nib pointing towards you, remove the ink cartridge then simply pinch the nib and the feed (the black part under the nib) and twist anti-(counter) clockwise.

A Perfect Pocket Fountain Pen

This fountain pen is, quite literally, perfection in your pocket! Strongly recommended—especially when paired with the architect nib. The smoothness is so satisfying that it feels like you're gliding on silk, and the line variation it allows will make you feel like an artist even if you're just doodling during meetings.
Trust me, this pen will have you writing notes just for the sheer joy of using it. You might even find yourself drafting grocery lists with flourish and flair!

I LOVE IT!!!

This is my dream pen. It's the holy grail. And I should know, I have been searching for 30 years and this, my friends and fellow people of the pen, is IT. Buy the pen, buy the ink, and when your magical little parcel arrives, pop the kettle on, make yourself a cup of tea in a beautiful porcelain cup - because this moment calls for quality beginning to end... then sit down by a sunlit window, preferably overlooking a beautiful patch of garden, and enjoy the simple, sensory, whole-of-person act of writing more than you ever have in your life. You're welcome :-)

Beautiful Pen in every way (Pocket Fountain Pen 2.0 with Pro-Flex Nib)

After a long wait, my Pocket Fountain Pen 2.0 in Wisteria finally arrived this afternoon. I am already having a lot of fun with the 3 Lumos (Pro Duo and Mini) and 3 Wrens. Now I have the most beautiful flex nib pen. The weight is well-balanced and the nib writes buttery smooth. The flex is really amazing. The G nib can be replaced easily.
To avoid premature corrosion of the nib, I have to remember cleaning the nib, the feed and ink cartridge every time after using the Pro-flex nib. This is the only thing I need to learn to get used to. Assembling the nib is not as difficult as it seems but I think having some spare empty refillable ink cartridges or specialized empty short ink converters with the pen set will even be better. That way, I can change ink as easily as with Lumos and Wren. I tried the pen with a Kaweco mini converter. The size fits but not the length when the converter is fully-filled. The fun of this pen is that just like the Lumos pen I can swap nibs to achieve different writing styles. I wish the pen has an add-on metal pen clip so the I won't easily lose it when I put it in my pocket. Will definitely try the Titanium Flex and the intersting Japanese Brush Tip too.

A stunning pocket pen

I love this pen. Beautiful to the touch, lightweight, tough and amazingly balanced. The flex nib is superb. This has rapidly become my favourite pen.

Perfect little big pen

I simply love it and so easy to throw in my backpack. Beautifully balanced and has a hardy feel to it - as always engineering quality is outstanding. I just want all the colours
