Lovely pen. It’s very fun to write with, the weight is perfect and I enjoy being able to switch ink colors on a whim.
I bought the Studio fountain pan after reading other positive reviews. It arrived quickly (within 48 hours of me placing the order). First positive observations were for the lovely packaging. Nicely boxed, with a note, and a Dorset tea bag included!
The pen itself is beautifully made. I went for the black colour, and paid extra to have my initials (subtly) engraved in white. I inked the pen, and was amazed that it worked perfectly straight out of the box. I've had fountain pens in the past (costing many times more than this) where I've ended up having to flush the pens several times before they wrote well, but this was perfect on first use. I went for a fine nib (I'll be using this as an everyday pen, rather than for calligraphy or artwork) and it's the perfect balance between ink flow and fineness. I've got several other pens which need blotting often to prevent smudges, but this really is the perfect daily-use pen, and with the excellent No.1 Deep Black ink, no blotting was required.
This pen arrived at the same time as my Lumos Write (also superb - see my separate review of that). As I said on that review, it's great to find an English company who are doing great things. I'll definitely be a returning customer.

This is such a beautiful pen, which is lovely to hold. You can tell the quality of the item. I ordered this pen with the pro flex nib, which is outstanding, although I'd also love to try it with a standard nib too.
