Wren is a beautiful and infinitely refillable writing pen, equipped with a Japanese-made writing tip. The reservoir holds ink by capillary action and feeds the tip steadily, so a single five-second dip covers a normal working month of notes.
Based on 3-4 A5 pages a day - about a day of stand-ups, a client call and a to-do list.
- On office paperA controlled fibre tip that stays crisp on 80gsm - no feathering through to the other side of the page.
- Any inkNot just blue and black. Any dye-based fountain ink, including waterproof pigment for notes that need to survive a spilled coffee.
- Any angleWrite flat, propped on a knee, or up against a wall. Press as hard as you like - the tip takes it.
- When it wearsAfter months of daily use you can replace the tip, not the pen. Thirty seconds, and you're writing again.

Why it exists
Nine billion pens are thrown away every year. Tom wanted the everyday pen in the range to prove a pen doesn't have to be one of them: a writing tip from Japan, a refill you fill from the bottle, a body you keep.
Refillable, for life
Ink from the bottle, tips you can swap, every part is repairable and replaceable. If something breaks, we have spares and accessories available at all times or you can pop it in the post and we will repair it in the studio.
