Job Overview
We are seeking a Mid- Senior Weight Graphic Designer who can bring Tom’s Studio’s brand vision to life across a variety of platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience in both print and digital design, a love of all things stationery, and a strong understanding of how to balance beauty and functionality. Key Responsibilities:
1. Digital Design
- Design engaging assets for our website, social media, email campaigns, and digital ads, ensuring each piece aligns with our brand aesthetics.
- Adapt content to different digital platforms, keeping up with the best practices for formats like Instagram and TikTok.
2. Print and Packaging Design
- Collaborate with Tom on designing product packaging, focusing on visual elements while maintaining brand standards.
- Create marketing collateral, retail signage, and point-of-sale materials, ensuring print designs are consistent and high-quality.
- Organise and artwork print material meticulously and beautifully; having a solid knowledge of print processes.
3. Campaign Creation and Brand Development
- Develop and execute integrated campaigns spanning digital, print, and social platforms, ensuring a cohesive brand experience.
- Help evolve Tom’s Studio’s visual language, applying design insights and staying true to our sustainable, creative ethos.
4. Product Design and Curation
- Work with Tom to design new stationery products such as paper goods, inks, and creative tools.
- Collaborate with the team to execute and launch seasonal colours and ranges across the product collection.
5. Content Creation
- Assist with photography and basic videography, producing both lifestyle and product shots for web and social media.
- Edit photos and videos to create polished content for various platforms.
6. Collaboration and Quality Control
- Liaise with packaging manufacturers and external suppliers to ensure designs meet our standards.
- Maintain and update brand guidelines, tone of voice, and visual standards to safeguard the brand identity.
About You:
- 3–5 years of experience in a design role, ideally within a creative, retail, or D2C brand.
- Proficiency in Design Software: Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with tools like Figma. Motion graphics or video editing experience is a plus.
- Social Media Savvy: Strong understanding of social platforms, especially Instagram and TikTok, and how to design content that resonates.
- E-commerce and UX/UI Knowledge: Familiarity with designing for e-commerce platforms and understanding of digital marketing best practices.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to design execution, with a commitment to quality.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Comfortable presenting ideas and working with cross-functional teams, from founders to external collaborators.
- Organised and Self-Motivated: Able to manage multiple projects and self-manage in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Passion for Design and Stationery: Appreciation of modern design trends and a love for creative tools.

Role Location
This role would require being in our Hampshire studio/shop (Ringwood) 3-4 days per week, where our Founder Tom is located, and the commercial team is regularly based.
