The nib is where it all happens, the bit that really puts pen to paper, controls your ink flow and, more than anything else, determines how your lettering looks and feels. So it's worth getting the right one.
The Nikko G is our bestseller and honestly, it's hard to beat. It's forgiving, holds ink brilliantly and gives you those gorgeous thick-to-thin strokes that make pointed pen calligraphy so satisfying. If you're just starting out, this is the one I'd recommend every time. For something sharper and more responsive, the Zebra G and Brause nibs are excellent, lots of our more experienced calligraphers swear by them.
All of our nibs fit straight into our calligraphy pen holders, the Bloom, Flourish and Carrot. Slide the nib in, dip into your ink, and off you go.
Nibs are consumable, they do wear out over time, which is completely normal. I'd suggest keeping a few spares so you're never caught mid-project with a tired nib. We've kept the prices sensible so stocking up doesn't sting.
