Studio Handmade is a return to where Tom's Studio began.
Ten years after the first handmade pen emerged from a tiny workshop, we've brought the craft back home. Each Studio Handmade pen starts with precision-machined brass components before being individually turned, finished and assembled by hand in our Somerset workshop.
This collection celebrates our fascination with materials and the hidden potential in things others overlook.
Created in collaboration with Fabreco®, each pen barrel is turned from solid composite material made using reclaimed textiles. What began life as unwanted fabric is transformed into a remarkably durable material, revealing unexpected colours, patterns and textures as it's shaped on the lathe.
Each pen features a solid brass grip and cap, paired with a hand-turned Fabreco® barrel. Over time the brass will naturally patinate, creating a writing tool that becomes more personal with every year of use.

Cursive Italic Fountain Pen Nib

Effortless big, juicy lines make this my go-to for sketching and everyday use. The Architect nib is the opposite of the Italic nib, featuring a broad cross stroke and a thin down stroke. This nib is a BB (double broad), delivering beautiful line variation with strokes measuring around 1.2mm at their thickest (horizontal) and 0.3mm on the downstroke. For even greater versatility, you can flip the nib upside down to create super fine hairline strokes.
