When blossom season arrives, it marks the end of winter and the beginning of brighter days. Sakura captures that expansive, creative feeling in a playful ombré flowing from bright pink to delicate blush. Hand dip-dyed, each pen is one of a kind.

A beautiful and infinitely refillable writing pen, the Wren is equipped with a Japanese-made writing tip that glides effortlessly across the page. Whether you’re scribbling notes, penning letters, or journaling your thoughts, it’s designed to be your go-to everyday companion.

What ink can I use?
The Wren is compatible with all standard Fountain Pen Inks and we have a beautiful range of colours, which are perfect for the Wren and can be found here. Please note the Wren is not suitable for use with our Shimmer Fountain Pen Inks, No.60 Pigment Black Ink or Calligraphy Inks.

Looking for a waterproof option? We’d suggest the Sailor Kiwa-guro or Platinum Carbon inks - we’ve tested both, and they flow beautifully.

Some ink colours can concentrate in the tip, so you may experience a lighter colour after a line or two. This is completely normal and looks quite nice!

How do I store the reservoir and tips?
You can store reservoirs and tips, and change to a different colour using spare reservoirs and my reservoir storage containers.

How long will the tips/ink last?
You can expect the high-quality, Japanese-made tip to last for months of use. We tested a single ink fill in the Wren on a plotter – a device used for precision drawing – and it wrote consistently for 344 metres. That's the equivalent of 50 A4 pages of handwriting!

When the tip eventually dulls, you can find packs of three replacement tips here.
