Finally, a fountain pen that’s as interesting as you are.

Gone are the days of fountain pens that feel like they’ve been mass produced in some Dickensian, utilitarian workshop. The Studio Pocket Fountain Pen 2.0 is hand-assembled right here in our studio, with 36 possible colour combinations – plus the option to laser engrave it, making it feel as unique to you as your handwriting.

Despite its diminutive 90mm size when capped, it extends to a comfortable 130mm when posted – making it (dare we say it?) the most portable and comfortable fountain pen in the world. We might be blowing our own trumpet here, but we’ll let you be the judge.

And nibs – oh, wonderful nibs. Often under appreciated, but never overlooked by us. The Studio Pocket Pen is a bit like the Go-Go Gadget of the fountain pen world: with three interchangeable nibs to choose from and six more creative nibs you can add, you can switch things up depending on your mood, your writing style, or your next creative adventure.

This refresh is all about making the fountain pen experience feel more personal, more joyful, and a whole lot more fun. Because when your tools reflect who you are, creativity flows that little bit more freely.

Each nib has unique characteristics so please do read up on each to help you make the best choice.

Specifications:

  • Length capped – 90mm
  • Length posted – 130mm
  • Pen barrel diameter – 10mm
  • Weight – 25g
  • Made from Anodised Aluminium

Full FAQs and a video guide to getting started with your Pocket Fountain Pen can be found here.

Please note: We recommend you flush your fountain pen thoroughly before use. This will remove any oils from the nib which are present during manufacture, and will impede ink flow.

What ink can I use?
The Pocket Fountain Pen works beautifully with all fountain pen inks. Be sure not to use calligraphy specific ink as this can clog the pen.

How do I change the nib?
The nib units all unscrew from the pen. With the nib pointing towards you, remove the ink cartridge then simply pinch the nib and the feed (the black part under the nib) and twist anti-(counter) clockwise.

Refreshing style and handling, pleasing nib !

I like the refleshing style and handling of the pen, tiny at first but then satisfyingly we’ll to handle, its shape prevents unintentional rolling off the table. The materials feel high-class, the nib (titanium flex) is well-trimmed and allows for some secret flexing besides be an extra fine nib for everyday purposes. Fantastic device …

Except pocket fountain pen.

The pen has a fine nib and writes smoothly with minimal feedback, and has a proper ink flow rate. Very impressed with the shipping folks as they went above and beyond in my case.

Love it!

I already owned the studio fountain pen, so I expected (and found) the same smooth writing combined with effortless cleaning and easy changeability of nibs. However, my studio fountain pen tends to produce ink splotches, if it's moved around in a bag. The pocket pen doesn't have this issue and is clearly meant to be taken with you. It's very practical, but still has a great length and weight, when uncapped. I've been asked about this pen by numerous colleagues, and they've all been immediately in love upon inspection.

Such a handy size

Love my pocket pen, just had to have the semi flex nib, it writes beautifully I wasn’t disappointed. I also added the architect nib for sketching and had it engraved. I just need another now!

Lovely pen

I bought this pen to try it, having already bought 2 of the studio fountain pens. I was impressed. Much lighter and compact but still brilliant to write with. I had a faulty nib on the first one and the team replaced this for me quickly after some troubleshooting. The only thing I didn’t realise was that you have to use the little plastic ink cartridges in it (I was silly to assume it would contain the same ink converter as the studio pen). One comes with the pen and you can refill them with any ink you wish. I just prefer the glass one that comes with the studio pen.

Another brilliant product and such good value for money. Thank you as always guys ☺️
