Notes from the London Stationery Show 2025

Posted by Tom Gyr on

Last week the team popped up to the big city for the London Stationery Show 2025 and I am over the moon (and a bit stunned, to be honest) to share with you that we bagged ourselves an award!

The Wren has won 'Writing Instrument of the Year' – I honestly couldn't be more chuffed or grateful. It was such a joy to display the award with pride at the show.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported the brand over the last 9 years – it truly means the world to me.

This also gives me the perfect opportunity to say thank you to the rest of the Tom's Studio team (as much as I'd like to take all of the credit ). With customer support, we have grown significantly in the last year and now boast a team that warrants hesitation when asking 'would anyone like a cuppa?'. From just me in a garage, we now have a wonderful team of extremely talented folks who make the Studio all the more amazing!

A Big Moment for Our Little Studio

Heading to the show this year felt like a real milestone for the brand. It was our first time having a stand like this of our own, and it was such a treat to bring a few of the team along to soak up the atmosphere.

After months of planning the stand, I was absolutely delighted to see it all come together. We had some lovely chats and brilliant feedback from everyone who popped by – a huge thank you to everyone that said hi.

I can’t wait to get cracking on planning the next one!

Highlights from the Show...

Coffeenotes

A brilliant Dorset-based business – I'm a huge fan of Coffeenotes and it's founders Sarah and Mark.

Like us, they're truly dedicated to reducing waste across every part of the stationery industry. From recycling coffee cups into high-quality paper products to sourcing wire that can be recycled at home, they've considered every detail to make a positive impact on the planet.

Divide & Rule

The attention to detail from Divide & Rule is unmatched! Their passion for making a seemingly ordinary product even more useful is truly inspiring. I love the style of every item  – a true collection of masterpieces.

The business was born out of 20 years’ experience in furniture and product design. The founder, Henry, worked with CAD design systems but loved sketching and designing on paper, and wanted to disconnect from technology. So, he turned his skills to stationery and has created an outstanding range of tools.

Rebel Stationery

What I admire about this company is their love of craftsmanship and how they bring traditional techniques into the modern world.

Rebel is a sustainable luxury stationery brand that gives back to communities globally. They highlight the incredible skills of women worldwide, incorporating their work into notebooks and diaries. A portion of profits supports charity partners promoting fair living and working conditions. Wonderful stuff!
