Together, we’ve turned plastic waste from the Winsor & Newton factory – combined with other recycled plastics – into something new: beautiful, marbled brush handles designed to be used for years to come.
Each handle is made using waste plastic diverted from Winsor & Newton’s brush and paint manufacturing processes, and no two are the same. The result is a unique tool that celebrates reinvention – where thoughtful design meets material innovation.
Importantly, the brushes themselves are high-quality synthetic fibres – offering professional performance without the use of animal hair. Durable, responsive and suitable for watercolour, gouache and ink work, they’re designed to complement Tom’s Studio’s creative tools.
