A simple studio essential, rethought in recycled plastic:

  • Playful, practical, and genuinely lovely to use.
  • From theory to practice – a colour-wheel-inspired palette that helps you understand primaries and mix a full spectrum with confidence.
  • Smooth, wipe-clean mixing surface with a shape designed for swatching and blending.
  • Beautiful handmade palette made from recycled plastic collected from schools.

This is our recycled plastic artist’s palette – a playful, practical take on a studio staple. Shaped to echo an artist’s colour wheel, its softly rounded, three-petal form is especially satisfying if you like to organise and mix colours visually. Made from recycled plastic with a white base and subtle flecks of colour (that we're calling Marble), it’s characterful without being distracting – a clear, useful surface for seeing, mixing and swatching colour.

From waste to wonder – these are practical tools you can feel good about using.

Stain resistant and easy to clean: Most watercolour and ink marks wash off with warm water and a little washing-up liquid. Very heavily pigmented colours left for long periods may leave a faint trace over time, but this won’t affect use.

Every year, billions of single-use pens end up in landfill – and that doesn’t sit right with us. So we partnered with Brothers Make to turn recycled plastic waste into something genuinely useful: long-lasting, characterful tools designed to be used and enjoyed for years.

Each Write Off is made from recycled plastic collected from schools and local organisations. It’s cleaned, broken down, chipped into pellets, then injection-moulded by hand, piece by piece. The result is a one-of-a-kind tool that saves plastic from landfill and brings a little joy to your creative workspace.
