Our nib cleaning solution is perfect for removing dried-on ink from calligraphy pen nibs, fountain pen nibs and feeds and brushes. It can also be used to rinse calligraphy pen nibs instead of water during a writing session.

Can be used to flush pens through, or to soak nibs and feeds.

 

Supplied in a 30ml glass bottle with dropper.

Decant a small amount of the solution into a small jar or receptacle. Rinse nib briefly and dry thoroughly. For dried-on ink, leave your nib to soak in the solution, the rinse and dry as usual.

The wren

I received a beautiful wren pen from my daughter as a birthday present and it instantly became my favorite pen. The ink dries so quickly and the nib is unlike any I’ve used before ! The cleaner makes it so easy to go from one color to another and there’s no mess. I love this pen and I have collected pens for some time now and the Wren is by far my favorite!

Nib cleaning

tried to clean my nibs with water and soapy water but still left ink in situ. Ordered this solution, decanted a little into a smaller pot and left the nibs to soak and they are now completely free of ink. Thank you Tom, great product
