Original Flourish - Oblique Calligraphy Pen
A perfect starter pen fitted with my universal nib holder.
A little Ninja of a calligraphy tool... So many pens are made from cheap materials that look good but don't stand the test of time. I wanted to make a pen that did both. The Original Flourish straight pen is machined from Solid Aluminium using lathes conventionally used to make watch parts (the long-lasting bit, no plastic here). They have a silky matte black finish which sings quality and craft – it not only looks beautiful but is designed to be the best tool for the job.

This is such a great pen holder, just perfection! I’m just learning calligraphy and trying different pens and nibs and there is not a big choice on a market… I tried 4 pens so far and this pen makes a huge difference, worth waiting! As a left handed overwriter, I have struggled to find any pens that work for me. The ability to revolve the holder in a complete 360 has made it perfect!
