I love this pen! It writes beautifully. The tip has a good feel on paper. I've had issues with ink fade using traditional fountain pens. This pen wrote uniformly from start to finish. There were also no issues with smudged ink as is often the case with ballpoint pens. You have a customer for life!
As a teacher I need to write stuff down every day. Plenty of pens lying about but none equals The Wren. It already starts by being able to choose how your pen is assembled colourwise. The write off edition is even cooler since you don't really know what the blend will look like until that parcel arrives. The size of The Wren is spot on for me, not too bulky or too long. It easily fits in your pocket or a purse. Ideal for me since I like to carry as little stuff as possible with me.
Filling it up for the first time is literally dummy proof. It is mesmerising to see the capillary fill in action.
What I love most is the feeling while writing, the nib effortlessly glides over all types of paper.
The Wren is such a little gem that I'm ordering a second one that will be filled with a luscious red ink to do all my marking with.
My new favorite forever pen. Easy to load with ink, and absolutely smooth as silk to write with. The chunky size feels great in the hand. And keeping plastic out of the ocean makes me so happy. I have attached it to my drawing journal and I’m thrilled. And of course, Tom’s inks are gorgeous. LOVE LOVE LOVE.
