Posted by Alice Hadley on

The eCommerce Manager will oversee all aspects of Tom’s Studio’s online presence, ensuring a seamless and engaging digital shopping experience. You’ll be responsible for managing our Shopify stores (D2C and B2B), email marketing (CRM), website performance analysis, and online marketplaces (Amazon and Faire). Working closely with our marketing, commercial and operations teams, you’ll have the opportunity to shape our eCommerce strategy, enhance the customer journey, and drive online growth.

This is a hands-on role that blends creativity with data and commercial acumen, requiring an eye for detail, a knack for optimisation, and a passion for delivering best-in-class digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Shopify & Online Store Management
Own and optimise the Shopify stores (D2C and B2B), ensuring an exceptional customer experience at every touchpoint.
Maintain accurate and compelling product listings, ensuring descriptions, images, and metadata are up to date. Work closely with the product and brand teams to align with new product launches and ensure they’re beautifully presented on-site.
Keep the site updated to comply with relevant regulations and requirements, such as accessibility standards (e.g. the upcoming EU Accessibility Act), data protection, and online selling regulations.
Enhance personalisation and interactivity on the sites, leveraging tools and features that inspire creativity, engage both B2B and B2C customers, and provide a shopping experience that is seamless, functional and joyful.
Own a roadmap of continuous improvements across the site, refining navigation, UX, and conversion funnels.
Monitor SEO rankings and optimise the site for search, ensuring product pages, collections, and content follow best practices for visibility and organic growth.

CRM & Email Marketing
Manage lifecycle and transactional email flows and support in the execution of campaign emails through Klaviyo, ensuring customers receive relevant, engaging content pre- and post-purchase.
Work closely with the marketing team to develop impactful email automations, promotions, and newsletters that drive engagement and enhance commercial KPIs.
Analyse and report on email performance to optimise open rates, click-through rates, and conversions. Plan and execute a roadmap of A/B tests.

Marketplaces & International Growth
Partner closely with our Marketing and Wholesale teams to manage and optimise product listings on Amazon and Faire.
Ensure brand consistency across all channels and seek new opportunities to grow these revenue streams.
Identify and test new regional eCommerce opportunities via Shopify Markets, ensuring a data- and customer-centric approach to international expansion.

Data & Performance Analysis
Analyse site performance, digital marketing data, and customer behaviour to identify areas for improvement.
Implement A/B testing and optimisation strategies across the site and develop landing pages to improve conversion rates and customer retention.
Segment the customer base to enhance CRM performance, ensuring targeted and personalised marketing campaigns drive engagement and revenue.
Act as the voice of eCommerce within the business, staying up to date with industry trends, Shopify innovations, and best practices from other leading sites.
Regularly report on key eCommerce KPIs and insights, providing actionable recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
