Brilliant for sketching

Really juicy and quirky nib which gives lots of texture and line variation . I had a slight issue with the order which was very quickly resolved. Nothing is ever 100% perfect - the important thing is how issues are resolved. 5 stars for the nib and 5 stars for customer service.

Not sure the ink flow is sufficient for what seems to be a thirsty tip.... I feel the resevoir in the tip is nit drawing sufficient ink into it to replace whats used.

But i will continue to practice and see if its a skill issue on my part.

Good and bad points

I have several fude nibbed fountain pens and was keen to try this one to go with my Tom’s Studio fountain pen. I use them for sketching. Fude nibs are all about the ink flow. Many are just too generous but this one is excellent - not too much or too little. The bad point is that it is so scratchy - almost to the point of being unpleasant to draw with. It’s frankly not in the same league as my other Tom’s Studio nibs - which is a shame.
