A beautifully made A5 practice pad containing 25 blank leaves of smooth 100gsm paper, perfect for your calligraphy practice.

Each page is perforated so you can easily tear out your work. The paper is thin enough to be used with guidelines underneath each page too.

We tested countless papers to find the perfect type for all inky pursuits.  It's bleed proof, smooooth and translucent enough to trace through. Guides not included but you can find them in our Tutorials and Guides collection! Handmade in the UK.

Thick paper thin pad

It’s not like something you have to carry with you for a long time. The paper is quality thick and good for writing. The pad itself however can be used loose leaf or with the staple binding it’s not a moleskin journal just for practice. Can be tossed when done the cover is nice cardstock would reuse that for card making.

How much?

The build up on the website was impressive, unfortunately when my order turned up I was very disappointed to discover that the size of the pad was at least half the size I expected.
Combine the cost of the tiny pad and the postage (both weighing in at £4.95 = £9.90) , It may have mentioned the size on the website but it wasn't clear to me, all the other ads I viewed A4 seemed to be the standard size, my fault for not paying attention.

Beautiful booklet, well designed but personally I am disappointed by the paper quality, too thin for ink calligraphy
