As a designer, I am never without my trusty fineliner. I really enjoy the feel of the tip on the page, the choice of line widths, and the quality of the ink. I just always hated throwing away a pen after it had run out of ink or the tip had broken. I often found that this would happen regularly to my favorite tip size, and I'd be replacing the same pen over and over. This is obviously great for the company that makes these pens but a disaster for the planet!
The Lumos is a refillable pen compatible with 11 professional interchangeable tips
So, I decided to design a pen that could be refilled easily and with tips that are interchangeable and replaceable. Each pen has a reservoir that holds 2.5ml of ink which is can be refilled or topped-up with any fountain pen ink colour including waterproof pigment ink. The 11 interchangeable tips are all made by specialists in Japan including Fineliners: 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.5, 0.8, 1.0 Felt-tips- 2mm Chisel, Bullet and Brush. Each pen can hold up to 2.5ml of ink, which means that it can last for a long time before needing a refill. And when it's time to refill, you can easily top it up with any fountain pen ink color that you prefer, even waterproof pigment ink!

- The pen includes a Tom's Studio - Deep Black Ink (not waterproof) 5ml bottle of ink. More colours are available here: Fountain pen ink as well as waterproof pigment inks . Calligraphy Inks are not compatible (find out more in FAQs below).

What ink can I use?
- All nibs will work with all but the most experimental fountain pen inks (think shimmer + iridescent). I've tried a LOT and I'm yet to find one that doesn't work well. I'd encourage you to experiment and find the inks that work best for you!

What are the differences between the Duo and the Single Lumos?
The Duo Lumos allows you to have two different pens in one body, allowing you to easily change between nibs and ink colours on either side.
The Single Lumos has one tip and one ink reservoir which is double the Duo's reservoir size.
What's the difference between the Lumos and other refillable technical pens? (E.g. Rotring Isograph and Copic Multiliner).

Things aren't always Black and White.

Japan is where the best technical pens are made. I was never going to be able to design anything that came close to the precision and decades of perfectionism of a Japanese-made nib. So I designed the Lumos around them, with 9 sizes and types you are sure to find the ones to perfectly suit your style.
